Re-Registering of an amateur player PDF Print E-mail

(Forms are available for downloading off the Football Qld Website)

This section covers the procedures to register a player who has already registered at another club i.e. if a player moves during the season.

If a player wishes to change after the initial registration, they need to complete and sign the Notification of Cancellation of Amateur Registration Form NRR08 and send it to the club, copied to the Competition Administrator.

Step 1

When a participant advises they have already registered at a previous club via a FFA registration from they need to produce a NRR08 cancellation of amateur Registration form. This form should be signed by the player, club and competition Administrator before registration can commence.

If the form is not produced:

The players should be asked to complete the form including singing off by the previous club. On the production of the form, registration can commence.

If the form is signed by all parties:

Registration can commence by completing the NRR11-supplementara Registration form in full.

Then follow the procedures as per registering an amateur player.

If the form is not signed all parties:

If a player produces a form signed by the player only, the supplementary form can be completed but not signed by the club. The registration can not be immediately accepted and the player can not play until approval from CA. The club should forward supplementary form NRR11 and the Cancellation form NRR08 to the CA for processing . The CA should contact the previous club/CA to investigate the reasons for non completion for the form.

Reasons for non signing:

Player suspended Registration not accepted until suspension served.

Player owes money Registration not accepted as the player is in breach of Term 5 of the registration policy detailed on the reverse of the form.

Player should be advised of reason for non acceptance of registration and referred back to the original club to finalise matters. On finalisation, the club will sign off on the form and the player can reproduce the form to the new club. The club will then follow registration procedures as above.

Grievance Resolution:

A player or club can lodge a grievance with the CA should either party not be willing to sign off on the form. This must be done within 7 days of the initial lodgement.

The CA will hear the grievance and advise accordingly.

Step 2

On completion of all the details on the forms and acceptance of the registration, the club is to take a copy for their records and forward the original forms to the Competition Administrator.

The Competition Administrator will retain a copy and forward originals to zone who will in turn forward to Football Queensland for inputting.
